Levis Jeans
Essential Oils
Uniqlo Jumper
Champneys Citrus Blush Set

Last month we went to Freeport Braintree, which is an outlet village with many shops, including designer shops. I got a pair of Levis jeans; from the Cadbury shop I got a Green & Blacks chocolate bar. Got an Ylang Ylang essential oil from TKMaxx, and Dot got me a lavender essential oil from Holland & Barrett.

For my (last ever!) visa application I had to take a "Life in the UK" test, which I passed the first time around yay! After that we went to Westfield where Dot spoiled me and got me a card (not shown), 3 gel pens, a set of Tisserand essential oils and a wool jumper from Uniqlo.

Last but not least, I found this Champneys Citrus Blush Set in a charity shop for just £2.50 (normally £12.50!). Gotta love charity shops haha.

Wedding Dresses at Dresshopau

With spring just around the corner, weddings season will be starting soon, so I'd like to share a few of my favourite dresses from Dresshopau - a specialist dress shop with a huge range of party dresses, including bridal, bridesmaid and even flower girl dresses.

Wedding Dresses at Dresshopau

The first garment on the left is actually one of Dresshopau's Red Bridesmaid Dresses. I really like the elegant, floor length design which is balanced by the sleeveless fitted bodice. The ruched texture and empire waistline give you a more feminine silhouette, while the V shaped cleavage elongates your neck, which combined with the long skirt, makes you look taller. And of course, the true red colour is sure to make you stand out without even trying.

Within the Backless Wedding Dresses section (even though it's not really a backless one) I found this beauty with a sweetheart neckline and an embroidery embellished bodice which gives a hint of sparkle when it catches the light. The floor length skirt has several tulle layers which add a bit of volume, a small train and some embroidered embellishments arranged delicately around the top layer of the skirt which ties it up with the bodice.

As I mentioned earlier, Dresshopau also stocks Cute Flower Girl Dresses. This adorable sleeveless dress has a sweetheart neckline with a lace overlay that covers the shoulders. A layered tulle skirts adds some playful volume and a satin sash with a bow (which can be matched to the bridesmaids dresses' colour) keeps the dress looking girly.

Winter Lip Saviours

Best Lip Balms for Winter

Even though I have oily skin my lips can get very dry - especially during winter (or when using drying spot treatments on my face) but I've found that these 2 lip balms always fix the driest, flakiest lips without fail:

Malin + Goetz Lip Moisturiser: this lip balm has a medium thick gel consistency - almost like a lip gloss, only without the stickyness, plus it adds a bit of shine. It restores my lips when they are very dry and sore from the very first use. Leaves my lips feeling soft and supple.

Nuxe Reve de Miel: it comes in a stick form as well as a pot but I find the stick more convenient and easier to use. It has a faint orange scent to it, which I love. The product melts with the warmth of your lips and leaves a slightly matte look to them. Within a couple of days of continued use lips aren't dry and don't feel like they need constant moisturising.

Have you tried any of the two?

Dresses For All Occasions At Zaful

This is a sponsored post.

February is here! We are getting closer and closer to spring and Valentine's Day is just around the corner, so here are a few cute dress suggestions from Zaful to give you ideas in case you don't know what to wear to any special occasion you might have over the next couple of months:

Dresses for All Occasions at Zaful

With just a click you can find hundreds of different styles of dresses at Zaful. The first one on the left is a gorgeous white number in a very unique fabric that resembles lace, only with a circle pattern and hollow texture that gives it an airy look. Also featuring a cinched-in waist and ruffles on the bottom, this dress will make you feel very feminine. I would wear this dress to go to a more formal event, maybe a family event or a spring wedding.

If you want an even more airy and flowy dress, then the one in the middle is ideal. It is formed by 2 layeres, the outer one is very sheer and has embroidered flowers all over, which makes it oh so spring-like. The base layer is a plain white strappy dress to make sure you are covered in all the right places. It is long sleeved with a similarly long skirt but worry not about overheating as the lightweight material will be very comfortable come the warmer months.

If you are looking for a more casual dress, then the one on the right is for you. Elaborated in a lightweight denim/chambray fabric, this dress will keep you cool during the warmer months. The relaxed silhouette and short sleeves make it perfect for summer, or even as a beach cover up. This dress has a few simple details that keep it from looking too plain, such as the v-neck and embroidered trims on the neckline, sleeves and down the skirt.
